Art in Resonance

Art in Resonance is The Peninsula Hong Kong’s annual commitment to making art part of the guest experience. This year, three artists working across three distinct disciplines — ceramics, contemporary art, and architecture- were invited to reimagine the hotel’s spaces through newly commissioned, site-specific installations.

Our ambition was to bring audiences closer to the artists and their works before they were seen. To capture the thinking and making behind them, and the process that gives the finished work its meaning.

The three artist films place viewers inside each artist’s world, offering a glimpse into the process and thinking behind their pieces. Meanwhile, the art showcase film takes a slightly different approach: a seamless, elegant journey through The Peninsula Hong Kong, where each installation speaks for itself. Unhurried and visually refined, it captures the artworks as uplifting elements in the spaces around them.
